  • The reward for obeying the Prophet (pbuh) is Paradise and the punishment for disobeying him is the Hellfire: “Whoever obeys Allaah and his messenger will be placed in gardens with rivers flowing beneath them, to dwell there forever. That is the greatest achievement, while those who disobey Allaah and His messenger and transgress the limits (which He has set) will be placed in the Fire to dwell there forever and have a humiliating punishment.” (4):13-14. On one occasion the Prophet (pbuh) said, “All of my nation will enter Paradise except those who refuse.” When his companions asked, “Who would refuse?” he replied, “Whoever disobeys me has refused."
