It is primarily the responsibility of Muslim parents to educate their Muslim children. During the era of scholars such as Imam Malik, Imam As-Shafi’, Imam Sufyan-at-Thawri, and others, you hear them talking about their mothers teaching them the memorization of the Quran, fiqh, the hadeeth, etc., at home. That was the norm back then. We need to revive it to move forward. Dr. Bilal

O brothers and Sisters in Islam. Don’t withhold your money or any goodness. Give in charity as much as you can. It will never decrease your portions at all, rather it will increase multiple times over. Give charity with SINCERE intentions and save yourself from the fire!

Indeed we remain mindful of Allah by mentioning and contemplating his beautiful names and sublime attributes. This God-consciousness provides solace in times of sorrow, reassurance in times of fear, strength in times of weakness, sufficiency in times of want. Allah is the source of honor and strength that never wavers and that knows no limit.

Indeed it is far better and closer to perfection to forgive, pardon and overlook, in the hope that Allah will pardon us on the Day of Resurrection, for the recompense will fit the nature of the deed.

“And not equal are the good deed and the bad. Repel [evil] by that [deed] which is better; and thereupon the one whom between you and him is enmity [will become] as though he was a devoted friend.” (Noble Qur'an: 41:34)

The beauty of Islam is that nothing is wasted, nothing is meaningless. Giving some water to a thirsty homeless animal can wipe out your sins. Birds and animals eating from plants you grow in your garden is a charity. A compassionate touch on an orphan’s head is appreciated by God. A smile and a good word are praised. Putting a morsel in your wife’s mouth is a righteous deed. Cherishing your own family is a charity. Honoring you parents is highly estimated and rewarded.
Even your pains, physical and emotional, great and small, nothing of them is wasted or meaningless, all are counted and compensated. This is the nature of having a trade with Allah, The Most Generous.

Indeed “Whoever works righteousness — whether male or female — while he (or she) is a true believer (of Islamic Monotheism) verily, to him We will give a good life (in this world with respect, contentment and lawful provision), and We shall pay them certainly a reward in proportion to the best of what they used to do (i.e. Paradise in the Hereafter)” [al-Nahl 16:97]

Indeed true! ‘Umar ibn ‘Abd al-‘Azeez (may Allaah be pleased with him) said: Allaah has not bestowed any blessing upon His slaves then taken it away and replaced it with patience, but what He has compensated them with is better than what He has taken away.

You might not have a car but others don’t have food to eat. To see how blessed you are, look at those who are less fortunate than you.
The Prophet ﷺ said, “Don’t look at those more fortunate than you, but look to those less fortunate than you, as it is best to remember Allah’s favors on you.” (Sahih Muslim)

Allah is Al-Fattaah (the Opener). He judges between His slaves according to His laws, His decrees and His decisions concerning reward and punishment. By His Grace He opens the eyes of those who are sincere, and opens their hearts to know Him, love Him and turn to Him in repentance. He opens the door to all kinds of mercy and provision for His slaves, and generates the causes by means of which they can earn good things in this world and the next.

“Whatever Allah grants to people of mercy - none can withhold it; and whatever He withholds - none can release it thereafter. And He is the Exalted in Might, the Wise.” (Noble Qur'an: 35:2)

“Do not limit your dua’s, for it is Allah who can transform the "impossible” in your mind into something so easily possible with His Might. We as Muslims should never feel awkward to ask Allah for whatever we want. If we try to limit our dua’s, then that can literally mean that we are underestimating Allah’s ability to give blessings.“ Dr. Bilal

Unfortunately some Muslims will line up at stores for hours for a good deal on a sale, but come late to Salah to get what money cannot buy.
Hold on to your Salah! Do not leave it for ANYTHING!

Being a Muslim is more than just going to the masjid - Allah wants your ‘attention’ not just your 'attendance’.
Be a Muslim that wants to pray, not the one that thinks he has to. There is a massive difference between the two.
