How we calculate prayer times ?

We publish prayer times of the closest masjid to you, by using the same method as the masjid. If we don’t know the used method, we use the most used one in your city/country.

For example :

• If you are in Paris, you will have the prayer times of La Grande Mosquée de Paris
• If you are in Brazil, you will have the prayer times of your city using the Muslim World League method (MWL).
• If you are in a muslim country like Morocco, you will have prayer times published by the Ministry of Islamic Affairs.

Can I adjust the prayer times or change the calculation method ?

Yes of course ! You just have to click on « Adjust prayer times » button, and « Calculation method : … » link after that. And then :

• Choose « Automatic detection » to let Masjidway choose the right method for your location as explained before,
• Choose one of the six standard methods,
• Choose « Custom Method » to define your own angle for Fajr and Isha.

What can I do if I notice an error in the prayer times ?

If you notice a big difference between Masjidway prayer times and your masjid times, please contact us at [email protected] and give us the name, address and a picture of the prayer timetable of your masjid.
